Xantys Ltd under its’ trading name House of Images (HoI) are a Ribble Valley based company who provide image database software, collections management systems and associated digitisation services to libraries, museums, archives and commercial organisations. HoI were established in 1995 and since then have grown steadily to become one of the major players in their market with a customer base covering the whole of the United Kingdom.
HoI’s customers range from large organisations such as Ordnance Survey, Cumbria County Council, and Gordonstoun School to small Local History Societies and Heritage Centres.
HoI’s software products are used for the cataloguing and indexing of all forms of digital media such as still images, moving images, documents and audio.
The principal software product in HoI’s portfolio is a fully web enabled suite of programs (HPAC) providing the means to display images, and most other formats of digital media on line, giving users the options of downloading or purchasing images through standard browsers. Along with the web enabled programs HoI also provide a comprehensive web design and hosting service.
